I bought a copy of  Jason's “Perfect Wealth Formula” featured on the right after looking all over the web two screens at a time for some straightforward educational material.  I wanted info on making money on the internet that wasn’t a ripoff and that wouldn't leave me dangling until I came to the $5,000 boot camp for the straight scoop on how to really do it.

So these PWF guys seem honest enough, and they give you over half a dozen good ways to make money on the web if you’re willing to work at it.

Small bone to pick: They encourage you to sign up in a hurry for their phone-answering and closing service for a fee, and in the bundle they also offer to set up a capture page for your website. Now, I am an old sales hand and give good phone, so the first item didn’t tempt me. The second one did, though, until I realized I needed an autoresponder to deal with an opt-in list to follow up on people who answered my ads. In my estimation, AWeber is the best software for this, and it includes not only an autoresponder but a multioption capture page that was quite easy to install myself.

 The price for the PWF system is reasonable, especially if you compare it to a college course, which would probably not be able to give you the same kind of  up to date information anyhow. I have been able to use what I’ve learned to enrich a class I teach, and of course to make more money on the web. The PWF people are consistently available on the phone for consultation, and the material seems to be updated on a regular basis.

So far, happiness prevails.

2. Do it yourself totally from scratch. Get a good book like Web Design for Teens by Maneesh Sethi. I like to learn from “kid books,” because they begin with the very basics then build from there. I built a website “from scratch” to complement my sales on Ebay, and used what I learned to teach a class. You can’t go wrong by familiarizing yourself with the basics, if you have time and if you enjoy playing with the computer.
